A daily turnover of over 2.5million means a lot of bookkeeping! Our Finance Team takes care of the daily monitoring and activation of international payments as well as dealing with the invoices. The team also prepares our monthly financial statements and prepares reports and analyzes for stakeholders, while also playing an important role in the continuous optimization of our inventories. Around 20 colleagues working in our finance department in Stuttgart in two departments: accounting and controlling.

4. What’s the best way to apply?

Online is best. Use our online application portal and we promise you that your documents will be forwarded to the right people. If you want to apply by snail mail, expect things to take a little longer.

6. How do I set up my online application profile?

Once you’ve found a job you like, click ‘Apply online’, enter your contact details and upload your documents (CV, references and cover letter). You’re also more than welcome to connect your Linkedin or Xing account to your online profile.

7. When can I expect an answer to my application?

We’ll send you a confirmation email as soon as we’ve received your application. Naturally, we need a little time to process your application, but in most cases, we’ll get back to you within 10 days. If you need extra fast feedback, please let us know.

8. Can I apply for more than one position at the same time?

You can certainly apply for more than one job simultaneously, via your online application profile. However, we do ask that you only apply for positions that match your qualifications and experience and that you can really imagine working in.

9. Can I work part-time for Internetstores?

We offer part-time jobs in many areas. Feel free to apply by stating your desired working hours.

10. How do I withdraw my application?

If something comes up and you feel you need to withdraw your application, that’s no problem. After logging in, simply click ‘Delete’ and all your data will be completely removed from our system.

11. Can I write my university dissertation at Internetstores?

Absolutely. We’d love to help you, but to do this we need to be sure that we can accommodate you in the right department. Please send us your suggestions for topics and we’ll see what we can do.

12. How long is an apprenticeship at Internetstores?

Apprenticeships normally last three years, but can be reduced to two years if you have previous training in a similar area, or two and a half if you display exceptional performance while learning with us. The exception is for warehouse clerk, which only lasts 2 years.

13. What are the requirements for doing my apprenticeship at Internetstores?

If you want to learn in an open, friendly environment with other like-minded, enthusiastic people, make customers happy and have a passion for e-commerce or the products we sell, you’ll feel right at home. If you graduated high school with good grades (academic or extracurricular) and already have some experience in temporary jobs, even better!

14. When’s the best time to apply?

We accept applications from January for apprenticeships starting in the autumn. We start the screening process in April or May. 

15. What’s the application process?

After we’ve looked through your application, we make a make a joint decision with colleagues from the relevant department as to whether you’d be a good fit at internetstores. If successful, you’ll be invited to an application day, where we can get a better idea of who you are (and vice versa). It’s not only up to us – you also have to decide whether you want to start your career with us.

16. Do I have to pay attention to anything in particular when applying for an internship or working student position?

Two things: we need to know when you would like to work with us and if the internship is a compulsory part of your education.

17. Are there any working hour regulations for working students?

You can work with us between 10 and 20 hours per week. We usually prefer working students to spend full days working with us, rather than mornings or afternoons.
