Winning leading industry awards is an acknowledgement of a company’s and its employees’ achievements and performance.
internetstores has already received several awards during its short lifetime. In 2007, fahrrad.de was nominated “Online Shop of the Year”. In 2008, the company was a finalist for the “Deutscher Internetpreis” and René Marius Köhler was awarded the “Mutmacher der Nation” prize which is awarded to companies for their exceptional commitment and innovative ideas. Furthermore, fahrrad.de has won the “Shop Usability Award”.
In 2009, René Marius Köhler was one of the finalists for the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award. In 2010, internetstores was nominated a “Top 100” company and also won the “Deutscher Gründerpreis”.
Beginning of 2011, internetstores was named one of the “Top Job” employers in Germany, acknowledging the company as one of the best employers to work for. In September 2011, René Marius Köhler again was a finalist for the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award as well as finalist for the “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” award.
In 2012, internetstores achieved the second place in the “Landespreis für junge Unternehmen” competition and for the third time, again, René Marius Köhler was amongst the finalists for the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award. Accolades from industry awards are a clear indication of a job well done for a company. It's an especially important pat on the back for our entire team.
